This copper strip is perfect for the primary of a Tesla Coil - The primary coil is visually and electrically as important as the secondary coil. Flat copper is ideal for this application as high frequency signals will travel more closely to the surface of a conductor due to the "Skin effect". Also flat copper strip is much easier to bend and form than round tubing - especially for those larger coils!
